Mansfield Rotary Club has been thanked for a £1,000 donation to help a community project with its work during the coronavirus pandemic.
The Mansfield Corps of the Salvation Army, based at Victoria Street, said the generous donation would go towards its food parcel relief scheme.
This ensures that food items in short supply can be bought to maintain the charity’s standard parcel.
“This will help the people in Mansfield and surrounding areas greatly during this time of uncertainty,” said community programme co-ordinator Stephen Hicks.
