A new free event for Mansfield will see Carr Bank Park lit up from Saturday, 10th February to Tuesday, 13th February, between 4pm and 8pm.

There will be four main areas to view at Mansfield Light Night — Radiant Bandstand, Tranquil Tree Canopy, Enchanted Forest, and Carnival Party — as well as a winter food court area. Organisers Mansfield District Council said the family spectacle would showcase the park’s natural splendour.

Mansfield Museum is opening later on 10th February for people to make Chinese lanterns to celebrate the Chinese New Year and take to the park.
