Mansfield District Council Civic Centre and Contact Centre will be closed to the public from 3.30pm on Frida,y 23 December, until 8.30am on Tuesday, 3 January 2017.

For emergencies outside these opening hours, customers should call the 24-hour central control on 01623 463050.

Some residents will also see a change to their bin collections during the Christmas and New Year period.

Anyone with bins normally collected on Mondays should check their bins for a sticker to be reminded what day their waste will be collected on the Christmas bank holidays.

If your green bin would normally be collected on Monday, 26 December, it will be collected on Saturday, 24 December instead.

If your blue bin collection is due on Monday, 2 January, it will be collected instead on Saturday, 7 January. Side waste for recyclable items will be collected.

All other bin collections will remain the same.

Garden waste collections in the brown bins are monthly from December to February. Residents should check their calendar for details or call 01623 463463.
