Mansfield company joins big guns for digital campaign

Mansfield company A-Star Media has been selected to take part in the first Do It Digital 100 Days of Digital Campaign.

The not-for-profit campaign promotes the benefits of becoming more digitally engaged to small businesses with help, advice and tools both online and off.

Other digital experts featured in the 100 days so far include huge names like Facebook, Wix and LinkedIn.

Michelle Ovens MBE, Director of Do It Digital, said the campaign aimed to “create a moment of real excitement, pointing small business owners towards available, practical support and thereby enhancing the success of all digital initiatives from both government and the private sector.”

100 Days of Digital highlights one opportunity each day for small business owners to become more digitally active and access online help and advice. As part of their profiling day, A-Star Media created a series of jargon-busting films to help people understand film terms and techniques.

Katrina Atherton, director of A-Star Media, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for us to promote how important video is in the world of digital, and to get businesses thinking about exciting and creative film techniques. With websites and social media, the next step is for businesses to get out there and share what they do with the world through film, and we’re here to help.

We have been making films for companies across the country for eight years, so we know what works, and we can help businesses understand exactly what they need to get the best results.”
