Lucy Jane Edwards, (15), of Kirkby, has been crowned Miss Mansfield Outstanding Teen.

Lucy, whose particular talent is dance, received her title from last year’s inaugural winner Ellie Rose Walker.

Judges at the final at the John Fretwell Sporting Complex, Sookholme, were impressed with her public speaking, ballet routine and commitment to the organisation’s charity, Princess Evie’s Trust, and her own chosen charity, Framework. Lucy’s reports also earned her the More Than Beauty award.

Runner-up was Lily Hewitt, (13), of Mansfield, and Chloe Rose Adkin, (15), of Kirkby, was third. Other finalists were Layla Allsop, Georgia Ellis, Morgan Hawley Townsend, Tarina Smith, Megann Payne and Hannah Clifford.

The event, aimed at girls aged 13-16, is designed to create a young ambassador for the town.
