Frontline staff who work in adult social care have received awareness training on the signs to watch out for that someone could be suffering silently as the victim of loan sharks.

Nottinghamshire County Council is keen to help people who may be in turmoil at the hands of a loan shark but do not feel able to come forward.

The council hopes its work alongside the England Trading Standards Illegal Money Lending Team.
