Living rough to raise money for Framework

Posted onPosted on 3rd Aug

A group of eight teenagers, aged between 15 and 17, are raising money for the charity Framework, which helps the homeless.

The teenagers are working on a National Citizens Service (NCS) project based at Portland College, Mansfield.

They have created their own Facebook and JustGiving pages and are aiming to raise £1,000 in a week by taking on the challenge of living rough for 30 hours to mirror the life of the homeless life.

The young people will have minimal food, water and shelter.

On Wednesday they handed out leaflets in Nottingham to raise awareness of the struggles the homeless face.

Their Facebook page is at 30 Hours Rough
