Determined fundraisers Cory Marsh and his fiancee, Deborah James, have created a festive garden at their Big Barn Lane home in Mansfield for a fourth year to raise money for a charity that supports babies.
The caring couple aim to put a smile on people’s faces as they walk by their home — and collect money for the Emily Harris Foundation, which supports the work of King’s Mill Hospital’s Neonatal Unit.
The garden has been lit up since 1st December and again looks different with illuminated reindeer, parcels, baubles, and about 1,600 led lights. There is also a snowfall projector, Christmas music box and snow blankets covering the garden to make the display stand out further.
Over the past three years the couple’s Christmas lights have raised £625, meaning their fundraising for charities and the NHS has topped £5,000 since May 2020.
Cory said: “Our fundraising means the world to us and we continue to raise as much money as we can for the Emily Harris Foundation. Thank you to all our supporters.”
