Join big sleepout to help work with homeless

The charity Framework is appealing for people to take part in its annual Big Snore sleepout to raise money to help Mansfield’s homeless.

The event, which this year has a woodlands animals theme, will take place at the town’s Vision West Nottinghamshire College, on Friday, 24th March.

There will be entertainment from musicians, activities and a Box Factor competition to create the most imaginative shelter.

Participants can sign up as individuals or as part of a group and will be expected to raise money through sponsorship for the charity.

A non-refundable £10 fee is charged for adults, £5 for students and those aged five to 16,

Framework provides support and accommodation to homeless and vulnerable people in the area.

The Mansfield Big Snore has been helping that work since 2004, when the event was first held at St Mark’s Church.

To sign up, visit www.frameworkha.org/mansfieldbigsnore or call 0115 970 9553 for
