Job opportunities for qualified nurses

Posted onPosted on 31st May

Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is looking to recruit qualified nurses to further improve the quality of care provided at its hospitals.

An open day on 4 June at King’s Mill Hospital, Sutton, from 10am to 3pm, is a chance for registered nurses to find out more about career opportunities within King’s Mill, Newark and Mansfield Community hospitals.

Attendees will be able to chat with friendly staff about the benefits of working at the Trust, plus those who meet the required standard will have a chance to undertake an interview and potentially receive a provisional job offer on the day.

The Trust, which is looking to recruit registered nurses across all specialties including acute medicine, surgery and theatres, is hoping to replicate the success of its last open day in February where 25 registered nurses were employed.

Andrea Clegg, Lead Nurse for Professional Practice Development, at the Trust, said: “To be a nurse at Sherwood Forest Hospitals is exciting, satisfying and rewarding.

“We are looking for passionate and enthusiastic nurses who are committed to providing the highest quality care to patients. In return we offer an extremely fulfilling career path, excellent training and development opportunities and a good work life balance.”

For further information about the open day, call 01623 622515, extension 3947 or visit www.caretobeproudof.co.uk/open-day Applicants should bring all relevant forms of identification on the day.
