A Mansfield business received an accolade at the SME Midlands Enterprise Awards.

lock Property Solutions Limited (BPS), based at Mansfield Innovation Centre for the past two years, was named Best Residential Block Management Services Provider 2023 – Nottinghamshire in the awards, organised by SME News.

BPS is a managing agent that specialises in property management for estates and residential blocks. Its customers include leaseholders, resident management companies, right to manage, freeholders, and developers.

Founder Shahin Ahad attributes part of BPS’s success to the guidance and support provided by Mansfield Innovation Centre, its main base of operations.

Innovation director David Smith supported Shahin to develop strategy, systems, and processes, and also helped the business to secure three growth grant awards.

During the time that David has been working with Shahin, the business has grown by more than 400%.

Shahin said: “Receiving this award has motivated me to push onwards and upwards with my business. It is very much appreciated and has been extremely helpful to get me to where we are today.”
