Warsop Inner Wheel president Terry Newton is pictured at her final fundraising event of her year in office, an afternoon tea at Teversal Manor Rooms.

A total of 55 people enjoyed Bucks Fizz on arrival in a marquee on the lawn and had a homemade afternoon tea donated by members.

Music was by Mike Goad and flowers in china tea cups were provided by Christine Fretwell.

The event raised £806.

The group’s international officer, Christine Fretwell, organised a Knitters’ Tea, a thank you event for who supported Inner Wheel throughout the year by knitting clothes, blankets and other items to send to those in need.

Joan Green from the National Police Aid Convoy gave an update on the latest projects it helps.
