Jacquie Chapman, district Inner Wheel chairman and a member of the Kirkby branch, hosted a gala dinner to mark 50 years of the movement.

The event, held at the Hostess Restaurant, Sookholme, saw more than 100 Inner Wheel members entertained by a magician, meal, raffle and 70s disco.

A total of £1,584 was raised for MIND, which is Jacquie’s chosen charity for her year in office.
