Mansfield-based Hopkins Solicitors has acquired Heanor’s Miles & Cash Solicitors in what it describes as a significant milestone in its growth and expansion into Derbyshire’s legal community.

Miles & Cash managing partner Chris Sedgwick said: “Joining Hopkins allows us to continue providing the highest level of service to our clients, while offering expanded resources and expertise across a wider spectrum of legal areas.”

Miles & Cash has a solid reputation for its expertise in children and care law. Solicitors Chris and associate Lucy Fisher have remained, further expanding Hopkins’ team.

Renovations have begun on the existing Miles & Cash office. Once complete, it will house at least eight solicitors, offering a full range of legal support services, including private family law, children and care law, residential conveyancing, wills and probate, civil litigation, personal injury and medical negligence, employment law, company commercial, and commercial property law.
