More than £3,000 has been raised by people who took part in a zip wire challenge in aid of Nottinghamshire Hospice, Nottingham.
A 15-strong group of fundraisers took to the skies at Penrhyn Quarry, Snowdonia, where they faced the mile-long zip line, and where users can reach speeds of up to 100mph.
The group included solicitors, students, catering professionals, banking and finance professionals.
Richard Howard, a partner at law firm Fidler & Pepper Solicitors, which has offices in Mansfield and Sutton, took part in the event with colleague Michael Scothron and raised more then £650.
He said: “It was a challenging event that was quite terrifying for some. But we have been able to raise money for a very worthwhile cause and that is what it is about.”
