Berry Hill Primary School welcomed employees from Kirkby-based TTS Group to the Mansfield school to help improve an area of school grounds.

It was the second time TTS helped clear an area of rough ground and remove weeds.

This time their work was to create a ‘wild’ forest learning space, which will help support the school’s drive to improve the grounds for wildlife and improve a space that can now be used by the Foundation team for outdoor play.

TTS Ltd, some of whose staff are pictured, undertake team challenges in local schools.

Berry Hill head Susan Brown said: “We are very grateful to TTS for allowing their staff to take time out of their working day to come and help us.

We also want to thank the team who worked extremely hard, clearing weeds, cutting undergrowth back and helping create our den area.”

Irina Bartlett, product manager for TTS Group Ltd said: “The whole team thoroughly enjoyed the day.

“We are pleased with what we have created at the school site and look forward to seeing it develop over the coming months as the whole school gets outside to use the den building and forest space for learning across the curriculum.”
