Volunteers at the Pleasley Pit Trust’s industrial heritage project are appealing for people to help at its café.
They are asking volunteers to work on the day of their choice, from 10am-2pm, at the site.
The role would involve cooking, operating tills, serving and washing pots. Training would be given.
Anyone interested should talk to Molly Beech at the café or any volunteer.
Pleasley Colliery was scheduled as an Ancient Monument in 1996 and is being developed as a mining heritage centre by the Land Trust.
