Home-Start Ashfield, which offers free activities to Ashfield children, has received £253 from The Mansfield Building Society’s Community Support Scheme to buy materials, including face paint.
Liz Sheldon, of Home-Start Ashfield, said: “We would like to thank The Mansfield for providing these funds to purchase materials and equipment. The die cutter shapes especially will enable our volunteers to pre-cut shapes for the children without the need for use of scissors. and our face paint has seen better days.”
The Mansfield’s branch supervisor, Claire Richardson, pictured, centre said: “Home-Start volunteers give many hours so local children can have fun in a safe environment. It was great to witness the fun at its Christmas party.”
