Girlguiding volunteers in Nottinghamshire joined hundreds across the UK in lighting a beacon to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee.

The lighting event at Edwinstowe Cricket Club included a silent disco, outdoor games, and campfire singing before the beacon was lit by county president Eve Griffiths and county commissioner Kirstie Pogson.

The beacon was donated and made by Wrights Engineering, Worksop.
