Two Shirebrook men, Flick and Tosh, organised several fundraising events that raised £4,357 for the John Eastwood Hospice, Sutton.

The main event was a bike ride from Shirebrook to Skegness.

There was also a cake day and a disco at Shirebrook Miners’ Welfare.

Flick has been fundraising for worthy causes for 20 years with the support of the people in the Shirebrook and Langwith communities.
