Skegby couple Sharon and John Cooper organised another evening garden party to raise funds for the Amazon Breast Cancer Support Group.

The event raised £684 for the charity, which works to benefit breast cancer patients at King’s Mill Hospital, Sutton.

There was a quiz, affle, card bingo games, and hot and cold food and drinks.

Amazon chairperson Beryl Perrin said: “There were extra donated gifts from Deb end Geoff, Gail, Phil and Pauline.

“As always, Sharon had invaluable help from her family, particularly Stacey, Michele, Jacob and, of course, John.

“The Amazons send out a huge thank you to Sharon and John, and all their family and friends who supported this wonderful fundraising and fun event, for their continued generosity.”
