The Mansfield Garden and Craft Festival is being held in Mansfield Market Place on Saturday, 6th and Sunday, 7th September, from 11am-3pm.

Mansfield BID is organising the event, which gives residents the chance to show off their vegetables, flowers, fruit and plants on the Saturday (with an awards ceremony at 2pm on the Sunday).

Also taking place in the marquee are craft, food and drink, and local business stalls; and children’s activities, including free face-painting. On the Sunday there is a baking competition, sections include a Victoria spongecake, six decorated cup cakes, fruit plate pie, jam, chutney, small white loaf, scones and, for under 16s, biscuits, tarts and brownies.
