Skegby fundraisers Sharon Cooper and John Cooper hosted another garden party fundraiser in aid of the Amazon Breast Cancer Support Group.

The Amazon charity, which helps breast cancer patients at King’s Mill Hospital, Sutton, thanked the Coopers and their family and friends for their support.

The event, which raised £542, included a quiz, card bingo, raffle, and a wide variety of food.

The Amazon Breast Cancer Support Group has resumed its monthly (except August) open support meetings for past and present breast cancer patients at King’s Mill. They are held on the second Tuesday of the month at the Amazon Lounge in the breast unit at the hospital.
