A teenage ballet dancer raised thousands of pounds for the John Eastwood Hospice, Sutton, and other charities with a lockdown danceathon.
Ruth Lamb, 14, of Annesley Woodhouse, practised her ballet acrobatic and lyrical routines at home — doing six hours per day.
She raised more than £1,000 to add to earlier fundraising of more than £4,000.
Ruth started her campaign after her friend and costume designer, Karen Newbold, died in 2018, aged 49.
The Ashfield School, Kirkby, is a member of the Christine March School of Dance, Kirkby.
