Dedicated health fundraiser Cory Marsh is continuing to try to put a smile on the faces of medical staff — and helping a charity that supports the neonatal unit at King’s Mill Hospital, Sutton.
Cory and his fiancee, Deborah James, of Mansfield, have now raised more than £2,800 for the Emily Harris Foundation.
Cory, who has been fundraising for around 20 years, had previously helped Mencap; Sheffield Children’s Hospital; Yorkshire Air Ambulance; St Patrick’s Church, Forest Town; and a scanner appeal at King’s Mill.
When the King’s Mill appeal was successfully completed he began helping the foundation.
Cory also wanted to show his support for the NHS and its annual birthday celebrations.
During the first coronavirus lockdown he had a photo taken in his front garden.
Last year he was pictured outside King’s Mill with 73 balloons to mark the NHS’s 73rd birthday — and this year he was seen (above) at the hospital with another balloon tribute.
