Ian Randall, one of the event organisers, said: “We had a fantastic turnout and would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who came along.
“None of this would have been possible without Taylor Wimpey’s generous support.”
More than a dozen local music artists performed at the event at Rainworth Miners’ Welfare FC. Activities included children’s rides, a bouncy castle, hook-a-duck and face-painting, plus arts and crafts stalls, a tug-of-war competition, tombola and a raffle.
Taylor Wimpey representatives ran a ‘guess how many hard hats are in the house’ competition.
Lucie Grundy, sales manager for Taylor Wimpey East Midlands, said: “The organisers work hard to make sure the event is a fantastic day out for everyone in the village while raising vital funds for some worthy local causes.”
