Posted onPosted on 26th May

ATTFE College, Sutton, welcomed 16 South African principals from South African Public Colleges Organisation for a visit.

The principals met the ATTFE leadership team and were given a welcome presentation showcasing what the college does.

They then visited classes to experience lifelong learning before going to the college’s radio station, Takeover Radio 106.9fm, where they were interviewed by learners and broadcast live on air.

The principals also visited the United Reformed Church, Sutton, to see some more of the college’s teaching space.

A visit to the Community Hub and the chance to enjoy food, prepared by catering learners and tutors, concluded the special day.

The college also thanked the Orchard Primary and Nursery School choir, Kirkby, for singing.

ATTFE principal Liz Barrett said: “We were incredibly privileged to host the visits. Staff and learners enjoyed sharing the lifelong learning activities that they are involved in, and the impact that ATTFE College has within the communities that it serves.”
