A free advice day for budding entrepreneurs, which will provide expert advice, practical information and workshops on starting out in business and encouraging growth, will be held on 11th June at Mansfield I-Centre.

The business advice fair will include organisations such as Stopford Associates, Invest Ashfield & Mansfield, Vision Entrepreneur, NBV, The Prince’s Trust, eBusiness Club, Hopkins Solicitors, The Hive and NatWest.

People can drop in any time during the day from 10am-4pm and have an informal chat with business experts to find out what support is available. It will cover key areas such as business planning, commercial law, raising finance, finding premises, searching for grants, marketing and more.

Alongside the advice fair, there will be short workshops on a specific area related to starting a business, including how to develop a successful product idea, a guide to self-employment and the legal to-do list when starting a business. Places are limited on the workshops and booking is required.
