Ashfield Fire Station has launched its Christmas Toy Appeal — for both toys and wrapping paper.

New unopened gifts and selection boxes for boys and girls up to 16 can be left at the station up to 15th December, as well as rolls of wrapping paper.

A spokesperson said: “Last year the support we had from our community was amazing.

“We donated to King’s Mill Hospital, Ashfield and Mansfield Social Services, and Mansfield and Ashfield Women’s Refuge to name just a few.”
