North Notts Cat Rescue, whose volunteers look after stray, sick and abandoned cats, is holding two festive fundraising events in Ashfield in December.

The first is on Sunday, 1st December, from 12noon to 4pm, when youngsters have the chance to meet the Grinch at Grinchmas Market.

The event, which will be held at Triple S Snooker and Social Club, Skegby, will also include baby and children’s products, personalised  gifts, home decor, skincare products, cakes and more.

The second event is a free Christmas Fair at Summit Centre, Kirkby, on Sunday, 15th December, from 12noon to 4pm.

There will be the chance for children to visit a Santa’s Grotto, from 1pm to 3pm, for which there is a £3 charge.

The fair will also include baby and children’s products, wax melts, jewellery, gifts, a cafe, and more.
