Dorothy Perkins’ Mansfield store dresses for the seasons

Posted onPosted on 3rd Mar

High street fashion retailer Dorothy Perkins has completed a major refurbishment of its Mansfield town centre store ready for Spring and Summer.

The shop, which has been in its West Gate premises for 12 years and now employs 20 people, has had new flooring, graphics, till points, lighting and mannequins.

A new tablet computer will be available too, so that if a customer cannot find an item in store, they can order it online and have it delivered to store the next day, for free.

Shop manager Mandy Hague said: “This refurbishment provides a modern, comfortable space for shoppers, and we can show off our up-to-date fashions better than ever before.

“Myself and my team are looking forward to seeing customers old and new, particularly as we have now taken delivery of our spring and summer collections.”

According to Mandy, this year’s must-have items include cold shoulder tops, Bardot tops, skinny jeans, detailed dresses and mules.

Sarah Nelson, manager at Mansfield Business Improvement District, commented: “This investment from Dorothy Perkins highlights a commitment to the high street, helping to make Mansfield a real destination for fashion-conscious shoppers.”
