The chief executive of the John Eastwood Hospice, Sutton has thanked people for donations for its new charity shop – but said more would be welcome.

Sharon Williams said: “It’s an exciting time for John Eastwood Hospice as we prepare for the opening of our new charity shop in Sutton in September.

“Thank you to our wonderful community for your donations of such high quality items.

“The shop – at Portland Square – is looking very chic! We still need more bag donations of children’s toys and clothes, bric-a-brac and clothing. Donations can be dropped at the hospice.”
