A dog show and pet-themed market in Mansfield town centre attracted hundreds of dog lovers.
There was entertainment and a competition organised by The Good Dog Training Group.
The show raised £100 for The Jerry Green Dog Rescue, a charity that rescues and rehomes stray and abandoned dogs. A further £60 was raised for the charity on the Jerry Green stall.
Show winners were: Cutest puppy: Leah Ball, of Mansfield, with Maura; Most handsome chap: Annie Palmer, of Mansfield, with Lincoln; Loveliest lady: Jess Davis, of Forest Town, with Tilly; Best friend, child handler: Tyler Antill, of Sutton, with Molly; Best rescue dog: Fiona Leatherland, of Mansfield, with Bentley; Best in show: Leah with Maura; Reserve Best in Show: Tyler with Molly.
There were also stalls selling crafts and pet products, animal charity information stalls and advice on responsible dog ownership from Mansfield District Council’s dog control team.
Juggling and diabolo workshops for children were provided by Joker Circus Workshop. The entertainment also included stilt-walking clowns, and a craft activity stall provided by Mansfield Museum.
