Creative pebble art helps hospice

Posted onPosted on 24th Jul

An accountant’s newfound hobby of pebble art proved a fundraising hit for the John Eastwood Hospice.

Mandy Prince, who works at Wright Vigar, sold her pebble art creations at the Sutton hospice’s annual Summer Fair with help from the chartered accountants’ team in Mansfield.

The hospice is one of the charities the company has pledged to support this year.

Previously she had only made the unique pictures and shields for family and friends, so she was pleased with the positive response from visitors to the fair.

“We’re so grateful to everyone who came out and purchased one of my pebble art pieces,” said Mandy.

“It’s amazing to see how something as simple as pebbles can brighten up someone’s day and help raise funds for such a worthy cause.”

Thanks to Mandy’s passion for her hobby and charitable spirit, the hospice received a significant contribution to support its work in ensuring that people have compassionate care throughout their medical treatment journey and when approaching end-of-life care.
