Residents of Harlow Wood, Mansfield, have set up a WhatsApp group to communicate with each other during the coronavirus crisis.

Neighbours around the estate have been messaging each other, offering shopping services, help with prescription pick-ups, ideas for activities with children and recipe suggestions.

One resident said: “There is such a positive vibe and a real ‘Dunkirk’ spirit in the group.

“There’s even a plan to hold a street party when things have returned to normal.”
