Ashfield District Council said following government advice, “and in order to help protect employees and residents”, council offices will be closing to the public.

Watnall Road, Hucknall, will be closed to the public from Thursday, 19th March until further notice.

Urban Road, Kirkby, and Brook Street, Sutton, will be closed to the public from Monday, 23rd March, until further notice.

Northern Depot will be closed to the public from Monday 23rd March until further notice. Access will be allowed for Taxis MOTs.

From Monday there will be an emergency number on display for those that present as homeless or seeking housing advice.

The DWP is continuing to offer a face to face service at Urban Road and access to the building will remain for their customers.
