Mansfield District councillor Martin Wright was contacted by Jenny Marriott, asking where would be a suitable place to display a Coronation Bear she had created.

Martin put Jenny in touch with St Alban’s Church Thursday Coffee Morning in Forest Town, whose Coronation Crafters were putting together a display to celebrate the coronation.

The bear was given pride of place on a plinth at the front of the church.
