Company’s pedal power for charity

Posted onPosted on 22nd Jun

Charity cyclists from a Mansfield business are tackling a three-day, 140-mile coast-to-coast bike ride in aid of charity.

A team of seven riders — Nick Kempson, Nick Cook, Mark Wilson, Gavin Hammond, Paul Lawrence, Richard Amatt and James Twigg — from TIS will take on the Global Adventures challenge over 11th to 14th August.

They will be raising money for the firm’s nominated charity — Headway Nottingham.

Headway Nottingham is the only long-term brain injury rehabilitation and support centre covering Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.

It was voted for by staff members and during 2016 the whole business is taking part in numerous activities for the charity.

TIS is one of the UK’s leading independent fire, security and communications specialists,

Its team will start with their back wheels in the Irish Sea at Whitehaven and finish at the North Sea in Tynemouth.
