Community markets are to be held on the first Saturday of every month at Ladybrook Community Centre, Mansfield, from 10am-2pm — starting on 6th February.

Admission is free and there will be free children’s activities provided by St Mary’s and St Johns churches.

A spokesman for Ladybrook Enterprises Ltd, the charity running the centre, said: “We hope to have a mix of items for sale — new, handcrafted and car boot— fundraising stands, refreshments and local information.

“We hope our community gets behind us and comes along to support these events.

“They will help us to raise vital funds for our charity and provide a local, friendly place for members of our community to come together and see what is on offer in the area.”

Stalls are £5 per event (the December Christmas Fair will be £10) and must be booked and paid for in advance.
