King’s Clipstone residents John Severn and his wife, Valerie, have been picking litter from the lanes around the village for several years.

John, pictured after a recent effort, said: “Our busiest time was during lockdown when everyone seemed to be out in the countryside.”

They have been using litter-picking tools gifted to them by Mansfield Rotary as part of its Just Bin It campaign to clean up the town, which started during the pandemic.
