Parents and families attended Christmas decorations making workshops with their children at The Bramble Academy.
They were lively and fun packed workshop with parents, families and children producing creative Christmas tree baubles, sparkly snowmen and festive wall decorations.
Jayne Littlewood, Director of Engagement for The Evolve Trust, of which the Mansfield Woodhouse academy is a part, said: “It’s a joy to see so many parents and families supporting the learning and creativity of their children in such a fun way.
“After-school clubs are part of a wider parental engagement strategy to help our children achieve their potential.”
This is the first of many after-school clubs the academy plans to run.
Anne Callaghan, chair of governors, said: “I want to thank all the parents and families who have taken part, for making the time to join in with their children.
“I hope that many more parents will be inspired to join in with future activity evenings in the New Year.”
