Four Seasons Shopping Centre, Mansfield, partnered with two local schools, The Bramble Academy and King Edwin Primary and Nursery School, to launch a Children’s Art Trail for shoppers to admire when shopping at the centre.
In conjunction with Mansfield International Clean Up Day, the centre asked primary schools to create their own eco-friendly art work to be displayed in the centre in support of the initiative.
The Art Trail is now live in the centre with collages, drawings and paintings from children of all ages, and shoppers are invited to vote for their favourite. The winning school will receive £250.
Rebekah O’Neill, Four Seasons Centre manager, commented: “This was a fantastic initiative to support for the town and the art work we have received from the children is fantastic and looks lovely displayed in the centre.
“We wish both schools the best of luck and hope that all of our shoppers take the time to visit the centre to admire the art work and make their vote count for their favourite school.”
The artwork will be displayed outside of HMV for the coming month and there are voting forms and an entry post box at the Customer Service Desk for shoppers who would like to help their favourite school to win the competition.
The winner will be announced on Facebook.
