The people behind a successful childcare company in Mansfield are already taking bookings for September, as parents look to get back to work.

Learning Ladder Childcare was launched in 2006, with its first setting based at Wynndale Primary School, on Wynndale Drive, Mansfield. Since then, Learning Ladder has opened another setting at Oak Tree Sure Start Children’s Centre, and more recently at Sherwood East Children’s Centre, in Braemar Road, Forest Town.

Over the years, founder Mandy Squires has grown the business, which currently employs eight people, and her team have looked after thousands of children.

Mandy said: “We’ve proud that we have been trusted to care for so many children over the years. We’re going from strength to strength, as shown by the recent opening of the Sherwood East setting.

“Parents have been getting in touch about September already so they are clearly planning ahead. It’s clear that people are slowly getting back to work and are looking at their options for childcare.”

At Wynndale, Learning Ladder offers after-school care between 3.30pm and 6pm during term time, while at Oak Tree it offers pre-school care between 8am and 3.10pm Monday to Friday, and a holiday club between 8am and 6pm.

At the Sherwood East setting, Learning Ladder offers pre-school provision between 8.40am and 3.10pm Monday to Friday during term time.
