The Amazon Breast Cancer Support Group, which works to help breast cancer patients at King’s Mill Hospital, Sutton, has used its funds to buy equipment for a surgeon.
The BoNew 5w headband optic with headlight magnifier will be used by Manas Duba to use in the Breast Unit at the hospital.
Mr Duba has also been sponsored by the charity to present details of King’s Mill’s breast services at the Association of Breast Surgery two-day conference in Belfast.
The Amazons said the total cost to the charity of £1,233 was possible thanks to the work of its supporters.
