The care team at Four Season’s The Sycamore and Poplars Care Home, Warsop, are delighted to have received a Good rating from the Care Quality Commission (CQC) following an inspection.

The home, which provides residential, nursing, respite, palliative, and dementia care was praised for its happy atmosphere and supportive care and rated Good in every inspection category — Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive, and Well-Led.

The report said: “Staff had a kind and considerate approach to people. People’s privacy and dignity was protected when personal care tasks were being carried out, and people were supported to remain independent by doing as much for themselves as they were able.

“People were supported to engage in a range of individual and group activities in the care home if they chose to.

“They were supported to have maximum choice and control of their lives and staff supported them in the least restrictive way possible and in their best interests.”

The home’s manager, Prathap Junjuri, added: “We are extremely proud of this achievement, which is testament to the entire team’s commitment and dedication.

“Providing great care is all about putting our residents’ health and happiness at the heart of everything we do.”
