Posted onPosted on 10th Nov

The winners of a trail prizedraw that highlighted the benefits of supporting wildlife have met the Mayor of Mansfield to receive their prizes.

In the summer residents and visitors to Mansfield were invited to follow a ‘Bee Kind’ trail around the town centre, looking for planters containing wildflowers and supporting wildlife such as bees and butterflies.

Letters were hidden at several points on the trail map and they could be rearranged to form a word.

The winners of a prizedraw of the successful entries received Mansfield Market vouchers.

Jake Clampett-Skeavington (9) and his sister, Sarah, are pictured with Kara Howe, (6), Xanthe Howe, (5), and Mayor Andy Abrahams, who met them to say thank you for supporting the project that aimed to help the area become cleaner and greener.
