Gascoines scoops award at British Property Awards

Posted onPosted on 24th Jun

Family-run estate agent Gascoines is celebrating after winning the Gold Award for its regional property expertise at the British Property’s Southwell Sales Awards 2024.

In a major year celebrating its 70th anniversary, Gascoines was shortlisted for the Southwell Sales Award after continuing to outperform competitor agents in the local market. The award recognises outstanding customer service, hard work and dedication, as well as criteria that customers look for when instructing an agent. Gascoines previously achieved the accolade in 2021.

The British Property Awards monitor agents on a town-by-town basis, by extensive judging through mystery shoppers and independently assessing estate agents against 25 criteria.

Jess Mitchell, branch manager at Gascoines, said: “We are proud to have secured gold once again for the Southwell Sales Award as part of our team’s fantastic commitment to offering a personal service with the highest level of care and attention throughout the entire process.

“I’d like to thank all the team and our customers for their continued support, winning this award is a significant achievement in our 70th year and we look forward to entering into the regional awards.”

Gascoines will now be entered into the British Property’s Regional and National Awards, competing against other agents within the East Midlands and the potential to win ‘Best British Estate Agent’ for 2024.

Jess added: “By continuing to evolve our service offering we have been able to introduce improved processes and technology that make an enjoyable process for applicants and vendors alike.

“Looking ahead to the second half of the year, we’ve got some ambitious plans for the business. We are primarily targeting growth with our recruitment in our Ravenshead office and lettings team, providing a bespoke service for the market that ensures we remain the trusted agents in the Southwell and surrounding market.”
