Specialist education recruitment companies Teachers UK and Provide Education have come together in a new base, the East Midlands Centre of Excellence, Edwinstowe.
Provide Education and Teachers UK are part of the Operam Education Group. Teachers UK has relocated from its former Mansfield office, where it was founded in 1997, and Provide Education has transferred from its former offices in Worksop.
The move to Edwinstowe House, Edwinstowe, sees the two market specialists share offices for the first time.
The chief executive officer of Operam Education Group, Eddie Austin, said: “Bringing the two companies together in one location in Edwinstowe makes perfect sense and further strengthens our regional presence and ability to meet the needs of our stakeholders.
“Both companies will continue to operate under their well-established brand names, meaning there will be little outward change for our service users.
“Significantly though, we will have an increased ability to meet the needs of our clients and supply staff workforce, offering an expanded talent pool and greater regional coverage.”
Louise Hamby, senior manager East Midlands for Teachers UK, who is leading the team at Edwinstowe House, added: “Both teams are galvanised by the move as we share expertise and bolster our joint performance on behalf of our clients.”
Anne Ingle, former head teacher of Bilsthorpe Flying High Academy, is the new head at three schools in Pinxton — The Pinxton Village Academies.
“I have been using Teachers UK for the past five years. It is exciting news that they are joining Provide Education, which I feel will enhance and strengthen the service we receive,” she said.
