Mansfield Building Society has awarded £360 to Clipstone Allotment Association to buy a wheelbarrow and gardening tools for local schools to use.

The association provides community allotments, including plots for schools.

Richard Clarey, of the association, said: “We are grateful to The Mansfield for these funds. Local school children will benefit now and in the future.”

The Mansfield’s senior branch sales adviser, Dan Britton (pictured), said: “The Mansfield is happy to help a group that supports local schools. It was great to see the children using their new equipment.”
