The Oak Tree Neighbourhood Management Team (OT NMT) and the Jubilee Tesco store helped to provide festive cheer to youngsters at Oak Tree Primary School.
Tesco provided a discount to the local community group as it bought a large number of chocolate selection boxes as a Christmas gift for the pupils.
John Smart, chairman of OTNMT, said: “It was great to be able to work with Tesco to give our local school children a small section box on their last day at school. We hope the children enjoy their chocolate and have a lovely Christmas holiday.”
Oak Tree Primary head Mark Thrower said: “We want to thank Oak Tree Neighborhood Management for giving this festive gift to our school children. I am sure it is very much appreciated by families too. It was a great end to our school celebrations to be able to send the children home with a gift.”
